Creator Program — Nigeria 🇳🇬

Last updated: September 27, 2026
Effective date: August 2, 2026

Circl is built to finally pay Nigerian creators — no Creator Fund waiting list, no geographic lockout, and no algorithm suppression of local culture. This page outlines how the Creator Program operates in Nigeria: eligibility rules, fan subscriptions, tips, revenue split, and monthly payouts in US dollars.

1. Built for Nigerian Video Creators & Skit Makers

Unlike traditional social platforms that restrict monetized Creator Funds in Africa or delay local payouts, Circl gives independent creators and skit makers across Nigeria the tools to monetize short videos directly. Turn your community into recurring income through Subscriptions and Tips.

Monetization tools are unlocked as soon as your Creator application is approved. An official Creator badge then appears on your profile.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To join the Circl Creator Program in Nigeria, applicants must:

3. Monetization Channels

3.1 — Fan Subscriptions

Offer your supporters exclusive subscriber-only content. Subscriptions are priced for the Nigerian market. Fans pay through the App Store, in their own local currency, at checkout:

Subscription Tier Price (USD)
Monthly Fan Access ~$1.49

3.2 — Supporter Tips

Your supporters can send one-time virtual Tips to show appreciation for your videos and short clips, priced specifically for the local Nigerian market:

Tip Type Price (USD)
Spark ✨ ~$0.49
Sun ☀️ ~$1.49
Flame 🔥 ~$2.49

Exact prices in the fan's local currency (naira in Nigeria) are displayed in-app at checkout. Your earnings are always paid to you in US dollars.

4. Transparent Revenue Split

Circl operates a straightforward, fixed revenue share model on all Subscription and Tip income generated by Nigerian creators:

Stakeholder Share Percentage
Apple / Google (Store Fees) 15%
Circl Platform Fee 5%
Creator (Net Share) 80%

Official Country Managers in Nigeria enjoy a 0% Circl platform fee under the terms of the Country Manager Program.

5. Payouts & Transfers in Nigeria

5.1 — Schedule & Minimum Payout Limit

Creator earnings are processed monthly on the 5th of each month, covering all accumulated revenues from the preceding calendar month. A minimum payout threshold of $20 USD applies. Earnings below this amount automatically carry over to the following payout cycle.

5.2 — Payouts in US Dollars: Bank Transfer (Wise) or PayPal

Nigerian creators receive their monthly net earnings in US dollars, using the payout method they choose in the app: bank transfer through Wise or PayPal.

PayPal users in Nigeria: a standard Nigerian personal PayPal account can send money but cannot receive it. To receive Circl payouts through PayPal, your PayPal account must be able to receive international payments, for example by linking it to a Paga wallet. Otherwise, choose bank transfer (Wise).

Payout Method Estimated Transfer Fee
Bank transfer via Wise (USD) ~1.5%
PayPal (USD) ~4%

Applicable transfer fees are deducted directly from your net share (80%) when each monthly payout is made. Your estimated net payout amount is displayed in the app before each payout.
